Mahjong instructor, event host, and founder of Mahjong Retreats Co., Jovann is known for creating stylish, welcoming experiences that bring people together through the game. What began as a love for Mahjong quickly grew into a thriving community built on connection, laughter, and learning.

Jovann first learned to play Mahjong while living abroad in Singapore for seven years, where she discovered not only the beauty of the game, but the way it naturally brings people together across cultures and generations. She has been playing since 2015 and has since turned that passion into a growing business centered around community and memorable experiences.
Over the years, Jovann has taught and hosted more than 1,000 guests through her curated luxury events and has produced over 200 Mahjong gatherings across the DFW Metroplex. From beginner-friendly lessons and lively social events to private parties and elevated retreats, she introduces players to Mahjong in a way that feels modern, approachable, and fun.
Each event is thoughtfully designed to feel social yet upscale — a place where guests can relax, connect, learn, and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere.
